Maintaining the aesthetic and structural harmony of our community is a priority. If you're planning to make changes to the exterior of your home or property—such as installing a fence, painting or adding a deck—you'll need to submit an Architectural Request Committee (ARC) request for approval. This process ensures all modifications align with our community’s guidelines as outlined in the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs), preserving property values and the neighborhood’s appearance. Submitting an ARC request is simple: complete the online form, provide any required plans or photos, and allow the committee time to review. Together, we can ensure our community remains a beautiful place to live.
Log in to the Alpha Homeowner Portal and use the ARC Request Tool to submit a modification request.
Most requests are processed within 14 business days for standard reviews.
If your request requires Board discussion, the review and approval process may take up to 45 days.
Submitting complete and detailed information will help expedite the review process.
Homeowners are required to submit an Architectural Request Committee (ARC) request* and obtain approval from the HOA Board before starting any exterior modification work. Submitting requests in advance prevents potential costly rework at the homeowner’s expense.**
*See 'Architectural Control' in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Fieldstone, Article VI, Section 6.2 (page 13).
** See 'Right of Enforcement' in the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for Fieldstone, Article X, Section 10.1 (page 20).
Replacement and maintenance work that retains the original construction appearance of your dwelling unit does not require an ARC Request.
To expedite your request, please include as much detail as possible:
Visual Plans: Submit modification plans, drawings, or diagrams showing the current state versus the proposed future state.
Dimensions: Provide approximate measurements or square footage of the proposed changes.
Materials: List all materials to be used (e.g., siding, brick, stoops).
Color Details: Include information about colors for siding, doors, shutters, trim, brick, roof, etc. Please make color samples or siding chips available to the Board if possible.
Including comprehensive details helps ensure a smooth and prompt review process, allowing the Board to make informed decisions efficiently.
